A life is definitely more important than a relationship, I’m not saying it should be to OP i’m just saying in general it is. I also never said what OP should do, I said what I would do. I’d definitely be sad about a young person dying of cancer, thats something that could literally happen to anybody

I am going to be honest with you I respect your passion and in many ways I agree with you. But its a terrible look to try to set up a fade over someone's ignorance about caring for exes. We have a different perspective than him its okay. He young or hasn't seen the same things in life. the worst thing you can do is allow someone online to get you out of pocket in reality with real life consequences vs just saying "we think differently ". They may never value life, love or significant others the way we do or have the same level of maturity but that has nothing to do with you. He is a stranger
