Idk bout political will but there are places like Madison, MS, which is the wealthiest country in Mississippi that's less than 10 minutes away from Jackson, MS, that don't allow apartment complexes

The craziest thing about this is that a landlord inherently takes as much and leaves you with the least amount of money possible ever since they’re creation so these new algorithms are just basically tech bros scamming landlords , and the algorithm doesn’t even factor in the tenants continued existence it’s just like a data point they are trying to extract from
