Feb 10, 2024very average like a short chris brown album not shocking just directionless the rnb is nice in parts pop mainly wack n dated, 80s stuff ok but its very forgettable expected better from him after so long maybe it was rushed for superbowl could tell it was produced by lots of different producers before i checked the credits lacked the flow of a dupri executive produced project or strong executive guidance ima need confessions 2 asap to make up for this mid

The first 6 is hit or miss to me but he got the commercial records at the top of the albumI still want that Confessions sequel album they were working on tho

Honestly, I feel the biggest problem with Usher in the past decade is the Songwriting and Production, because vocally he hasn't missed a beat.
There's songs so far where we hear Vintage Usher, and there's songs where I'm just like "where are they going with this?"

cole breezy1-3 decent songs. This ain’t it. Career is over but at least he’s going out on a high note with this Super Bowl.
His sound and lyrics really just scream that he has sold out entirely at this point. It all sounds commercial, uninspired, and not very personal to him
not very personal to him - THIS even though i have tripes with breezys output at least he's quite consistent with his current style rapping singing trap beats n rnb the last few projects so if your a fan u know what your getting n u enjoy ( im not the biggest fan atm prefer his early work but would play it around a bad b/thot who not ready for 90s rnb/ babymaking music/ the proper slow jams lite instruction to her uncultured ass ha) but this usher everyone want that confessions style project he even teased confessions 2 n he out here singing but mcdonalds as a grown man
