It's weird to me how yall expect someone who's been in the game 30 years to still top their best work. Lol. This is project is fine for a legend who literally has nothing to prove.
Not asking him to top My Way, 8701, or Confessions.
Just make something as good, or something that is almost as good
he should wear this for the big video like a 'my way' video throw back type vibe

Well cant please everyone. A lot of us liked it. I'll say the were definitely songs that I didn't care for as well though.

at least be trying this he just slapped together
dj caught us falling in love again
Usher seems to me the type of artist that is talented but lacks vision/has bad taste
Many such cases
These types of artists need a good team to guide them

I don't understand why he doesn't give us what we want?
I'm not saying he has to remake his previous albums, but if he's had a formula that works, why not stay true to that?
He experimented with the EDM stuff which was cool (Oh My God, Dj Got Us Falling In Love), but I feel like he's never gotten back to his roots. Looking 4 Myself and Hard 2 Love, and even this album, feel so directionless. It's like he doesn't know what type of artist he wants to be.
This is sad because My Way - Here I Stand, Usher had swag. Especially during the May Way - 8701 eras.
WTF happened?!

tbh his smarter conservative fits be nice but when he be doing the most its like
I'm not downing anyone's opinions of this album if they like it, but if you're a true Usher fan, you'd realize that this ain't it.
I think people like the idea of Usher, and therefore they "like" these songs because its him.
see if u listening in 3 years then tell me about its timeless music
Kill me if I even care to remember to speak to you about it
Lmao at everyone who somehow thinks their opinions mean more than people who like the album because they dont like it. That's funny as hell to me. I've seen a bunch of people who dont like this album here and other sites but also seen many who like it as well. Seems to be a very mixed reaction. I didnt have super high expectations. Not sure what most were expecting. I will admit it was a long wait though but w/e
As soon as I GLU wasn’t on the tracklist and Good Good was, my expectations lowered and I enjoyed most the album lol
Well maybe I expected too much. I expected him to come with the fire because of this second wind he is having. I guess not my fault

that'd be delusional. those were different times. almost nobody writes on that level anymore. Usher had a completely different team of writers 20 years ago.

Hard II Love, Looking 4 Myself and this have SO MANY songs that sound like classic 2000s RnB Usher. Wtf
