timvocalsstanI hate that the streaming era killed the album fr. This would've been a much better album if it was cut in half. He bundling this album with SKIMS for f***s sake. To me, that's more embarrassing than selling 20-30k.
As is, it's just ok. Under cooked for sure. I got 8 songs saved (2, 7-10, 13, 15, 20). The songs I didn't save just felt like filler aside from BIG, which is literal dogshit. This the same nigga that thought mfs was boutta do the U-Turn in 2001.
Best song imo is I Am the Party, this feels like a more adult My Way track. This after 8 years is a bit disappointing, I know he had way better songs in the vault than this. Vocally, he hasn't missed a step and some performances turn back the clock, but the writing is thin and production is generic aside from a few moments (Bop, Margiela). This probably a 5.5-6 for me.

Usher killed it as predicted. I like Alicia Keys got to even do a bit of her own classic song even though it was ushers show lol. Everyone did a great job. Man kells wasnt locked up I know he would have brought him out for same girl

Trad R&B albums dont sell anymore unfortunately. We'll probably get one more of those when he closes out his career...this one he had to give everyone a track. It's solid for what it is and definitely far from trash.
