Wrong. If you actually listened to his albums like RaymondvRaymond, Looking 4 Myself and Hard II Love there was actually not much trenchasing. He was older and going 20 years into the game meaning he HAD to adapt to the newer and tasteless styles to reach the level of success he wanted. It's crazy to believe he should have stuck with the same exact sound for Confessions for the next 16 years. Then you'd all be saying he sounds redundant and he needs to experiment and catch up to the contemporary styles.
He's always done R&B and he only had 5 or 6 EDM singles in his entire career. OMG, DJ Got Us Fallin, Without You, Scream were the only EDM singles and they all went top 10 3 of those top 5.
Singles like There Goes My Baby, Daddy's Home, Good Kisser, No Limit, Climax, were all strong R&B singles but look at how they charted compared to his more trap and EDM hits the past decade.

I'm lowkey confused by the title since he is well respected by pretty much everyone other than Weeknd and some deranged Nicki stans.
He still has outsold all the other male R&B acts, outawarded all of them, and is 14 on Billboard's Hot 100 Artists of all time, so IDK where he doesn't get his flowers. Most people have moved on from the herpes thing. He'll sell out arenas and stadiums on tour in minutes. So where isn't he getting his flowers, @zenereura ?
