My 2.5 cents (inflation) on this whole thing.

We (generalized) talk about men being complicit in other men’s problematic behavior constantly and I don’t believe that to be false. But when the script is flipped people don’t want to acknowledge the same about women. Women literally side with women in majority of situations right or wrong. This is a situation of wrong and people are doing all the mental gymnastics in the world to say it isn’t.

“Don’t date a baddie if you can’t handle what comes with it”

Since when does being a “baddie” excuse embarrassing your monogamous partner publicly drooling over another man knowing your status holds weight

“It’s Usher”

Celebrity status means nothing. You’re still monogamously involved with the father of your kids. It doesn’t matter if it’s Usher or the broke nigga down the block. Entertaining another mf like that isn’t right especially if a boundary set/ you know what would upset your partner.

The irony is all the women saying they would be okay with this if it was their man and a famous woman knowing damn well they can’t even handle regular citizens liking their partners pictures on social media

It’s a lot of cap and gaslighting in this situation.

I don’t think he was upset at all about how she was dressed. He was definitely upset about usher. But as a man you aren’t going to admit publicly you’re mad your girl choosing.

The other thing to this is this is common behavior and again with mfs who don’t come close to being usher. All it takes is one argument or one instance of you not living up to someone’s standards and they’ll be all over the first person who shows them the attention they want. Man or woman, it can always happen to you.

it’s one thing to be mad at your girl for something. it’s another to encourage the whole world to dog her bc you’re too p**** to control her

the way i see it, Keke’s nigga was too much of a b**** to check her privately and diss Usher with his chest so he invited social media to attack her on his behalf because of “her clothing” and it backfired. he deserves all the backlash he’s getting. don’t invite millions of mfs into your relationship then get mad when they comment on it

Them being both entertainers doesn’t change the fact it was foul. I would agree here if this was an arranged part of the show but it wasn’t. She was fan girling and just happened to be Keke Palmer at an Usher show

As far as the 2nd point goes. Don’t get me wrong he is corny for checking her publicly. Me personally I wouldn’t have gone that route, but I also understand it. We can’t say “how dare he check her publicly instead of behind doors” when she’s disrespecting her relationship publicly knowing her status. Two things can be true, what he did, how he handled it was corny, and she’s just as corny for her actions then and after. I’m saying this as a bit Keke fan.

Ultimately I agree he should have handled it off social media. But I get being emotional like that. That was just immediate reaction kicking in. Whole situation is lame on all ends
