The Weeknd continuously appearing on Travis albums is a cool fan tradition. Same with Kid Cudi.
Outside of that dude is just spinning his wheels.
rema is a interesting choice
Ask Young Thug how that went.
Drake stimulus is dead
The Drake featured tracks on Business Is Business are the most streamed songs
Oh U Went has almost 3x the plays the next highest song has on that album
And it went top 20 on Billboard
So what are you even talking about
rema is a interesting choice
I'm talking outside of any new features he's bringing on, as him stepping out and working with new people is cool
But we don't need the usual laundry list besides Weeknd and Cudi tbh. Even James Blake isn't really a need
Travis albums are less than 25% solo songs
His three studio albums combine for 47 songs total, and there are 6 solo songs per album for a total of 18/47 songs.
18/47 = 38%
Which means less than half of Travis’s solo discography consists of actual solo material

Yeah I agree with those, esp SZA
edit: I hope "KPOP" gets the "i" treatment and dude remixes it to put some more meat on the bones for the album. There's a great song buried beneath Trav's mindless droning
wait where did we hear Ye is confirmed?
the codes at the Miami show one of them was decoded to be delrusto with bon iver and kanye which is a known kanye grail in the ye community

Kpop needed a crazy hook, that intro verse is catchier than the actual "hook"

Hook and some more instrumentation
I get that Trav may not want to lean onto synthesizers too much because even that could get repetitive, but some strings, maybe a weird sample that pops in every once in a while just to give it a little flavor. It feels to barebones

fr, needed the mike dean synth touch

Or even just like how Kanye threw that small vocal chop into IDFWU for Sean. It was a small addition but it made the song so damn cool at the same time
totally pop-friendly and commercially successful, but had that little extra thing to it
Ngl these features are pretty boring
not really
id take it over moneybagg lil durk spammed on the whole album
I doubt the label will let him keep Kanye on the album after Astrofest
Ye recording for trav albums and getting left off is tradition at this point

Features are goated on Travis songs

The version they had didn’t even have kanyenvocals it was just “for Kanye” to record on lol
Features are goated on Travis songs
True, he utilizes features better than any rapper not named Kanye.
K-Pop has me a little worried though but hopefully it’s not indicative of the rest of the album

Getting left off by the label and choosing not to clear it are two different things

Why would he not clear a feature for Travis? Kanye was executive producing the album up till 2021 anyway

K-Pop is weird. It grew on me a lot but it still feels choppy

It’s an okay song at best for me, the songwriting is just very weak for a lead single and there’s nothing about it that’s really noteworthy or memorable. Compositionally, it feels like it would’ve functioned better as a deep cut, but due to the features on it I can understand why they chose to drop it as the first single
