The rollout for this album has been the most stale, boring rollout I've ever seen for a high-profile rap release. Those briefcases/bill boards did very little to get people excited. He might as well drop the album ASAP but I still doubt it drops this Friday.

stop crying about hype
are y'all working for Travis's PR team?
will you f***ing lose your job if Travis doesn't have the hype you expected?

Yes but a poetry book and radio silence is peak rollout

Not a rollout. All he did was announce the existence of the album. The poetry book is its own thing.

The book is it’s own thing but it also has people talking about the album so I’d say it’s part of the rollout

Nope. The book is its own thing entirely and was meant to drop last year (when Drake initially said it'd drop). The only link it has to the album is that it was used to announce it.
There has been no rollout: no bill boards, no briefcases, no merch or any other thing associated with the album has been released or so much as even teased by Drake.

Travis hasn’t started a rollout either… he’s just teasing

Exactly the book was used to announce the album. Usually album announcements are the start of a rollout

Yes, but Drake has done nothing since then to serve as the rollout. An announcement isn't automatically a rollout lol. Both things are different.
Drake using the Jimmy Cooks video to announce Her Loss was just that - an announcement. Everything he did after that with the spoof Vogue cover, the spoof Cartier ad, the spoof Tiny Desk performance introduction, the spoof Howard Stern interview, the spoof SNL and ColorsxStudios performances, served as the rollout.

Pink tape was worse. Honestly this rollout not that far off from clb

He has. The briefcases he's been handing out to other musicians confirming their placement on the album, the bill boards, etc. That's effectively a rollout.
He shouldn’t
Kanye can go sleep under Trump’s fat belly for that love
You‘re so ready

Yeah, the CLB ''rollout'' wasn't even really a rollout because the merch associated with the album dropped way before the album did. All Drake did in terms of promo for that album was the bill boards that went up just days before it dropped announcing the features. That was it, really.
