It is just a simple matter of language. There’s allot of languages out there that don’t identify gender. Like in English we have he/she, him hers. And in Romance language there’s allot more gender identifying, from “the”, like Le, La which also means every word has to either identify with Le male or La female pronouns.
In English we can easily transition to using less gender pronouns all we really have to do is say they them instead of he him his she her hers, and replace it with they them theirs.
The only problem being the specificity of who you are talking to/about. Like if said they are cool, you don’t know if it’s one person or a group.
People are so inclined not to change but this isn’t really not that difficult and takes the smallest amount of effort to ride with. Language changes all the time.
