Uzi not gonna do this after getting rejected by Hayley Williams collab. No point anymore
He literally asked Grimes to produce him an EP and then ghosted her when she replied
this feels racist.

op basically said “if uzi wants to be respected, he needs to make non-rap music with white artists”
Op a genius he just wanted a hit thread and we done gave it to him ON A SILVER PLATTER ! 🤦🏻♂️

That’s not what he said
That’s not what he said
op said Uzi isn’t an icon bc he hasn’t “transcended” rap music, which is a roundabout way of saying he thinks rap is a lesser art form, which is a typically racist trope

People say the same about pop artists man that is not what op said. He dosent have many fans outside of rap. That’s all

pop music doesn’t have a history of facing racism like rap does though. there’s a huge difference between saying that about pop & saying that about rap. rap had to fight to be considered music in the first place, and remarks like “this artist needs to transcend rap music” echoes those same sentiments about rap not being a legitimate art form. especially when the suggestions are all to work with white musicians.

wtf when/why did that happen
wtf when/why did that happen
I forgot when, but a google search with ktt can find it. She even tweeted about it
it’s 2020 & op is pretending Uzi isn’t an icon already
imagine
he's iconic as a rap artist of course but with all these comparisons to prime Wayne I think we're forgetting that Wayne was doing crazy features and had top 100 hits
