Took notes from people like Kendrick and Cole who only drop albums every 2-3 years. Drake and Future fr the only artists that can drop a project every year and not oversaturate the market but even Drake hasn’t dropped a project in over a year. I just feel like the longer these artists take time into perfecting their crafts regardless of how annoying the fans are about wanting them to drop their shot it pays off in the long run. It’s all about longevity in this s*** and playing your cards right. And Uzi is doing perfectly. It’s all about building up hype. Also got a little Travis influence off it too I think more artist are going to announce their Album titles years in advance and make the people wait it just builds anticipation and a lot of hype up into the release.

Drake low key started that wave actually with announcing Views years In advance the hype for that was ridiculous. Cole also changing his rollout strategy this time too with announcing “The Fall Off” years in advance would probably be best for him to not even drop till near end of the year just to build more hype and suspense up to the release.

Tbh I doubt Uzi planned all this out, I feel like he just rolled over one day and decided he felt like doing an album rollout

Yeah alot of the stuff that led to the album being delayed was out of his control. That and fans leaking alot of the OG album songs didn't help

Announcing your album years ahead is risky because fans are going to have high expectations and sometimes artists can’t deliver
