Also grew up without a father, i healed from that or at least for a large part i have. Feel like she never really has from that traumatic period. And at some point theres only so much you can do yourself to try and lift that burden. After all even though i’m an adult now i’m still her child and that’s our relation. Wouldn’t be healthy for me to work on stuff she’s deliberately trying not to face

She housed me, cared for me and will still cook a meal for me every night if i pull up. So forever i’ll be grateful either way. But can’t say it’s much more at the moment. We dont hug ever and i don’t talk to her about pretty much anything private going on in my life
