Wish there was more of a awareness of pacific yew

His sound is so different. And his aesthetic is super mysterious and psychedelic. Don’t hate me for using the word mysterious. It’s really hard to learn much about him

His first real album (((( Bathing ))))
is more in the vein of sLums & maybe a Smino. His voice at times reminds me of a singing Isaiah Rashad

His second album (((( Maidenhair ))))
is him really finding his own sound. Wonky but smooth guitar playing, and minimal drum patterns with a distinct groove to them. Winding sine synths and blurry vocals with nonchalant melodies. There’s also some distortion, audio clips and tape hissing all over it.

And most recently he released his third project Squeeze Demo.
It feels more like a continuation of Maidenhair, moreso on the chill side. I’m very interested to see where his next direction will be.
