I don’t understand how a company as massive as Ubisoft with the resources they’ve got make such “eh” looking games.

I mean sure they’re generally fun, but when’s the last time anyone has genuinely gone “WOW” at one of their games?

Probably The Division before more of it got revealed & downgraded

Looks v similar to Odyssey which I played the f*** out of, but i was hoping for some bigger changes.

With a massive games it’s usually hard to tell everything they added from a clip

Generally speaking, all the AAA developers now haven’t had their own WOW moments in some years, I’d even say since the PS3/360 gen in many cases. Most all the big developers came out with some relatively revolutionary s*** initially (CoD 4, AC II, Battlefield 3, GTA V) then have been riding the coattails of the subsequent sequels or remasters since.

Even if cyberpunk does well it won't change the Outlook of other companies. Cyberpunk has been in development for damn near a decade and had a lot of resources put in, also since they're not based in the US a lot of the laws and costs of business are lowered from what I heard in the witcher 3 development.
Another publisher can't justify a 7-8 year development to their stockholders and if it flops it's basically over for the studio. It's easier to pump out 4 mediocre games in 8 years and have consistent money coming in.
