Might be the move. Getting on programming asap

Programming is useful but really open ended

If you pair it with something more niche, such as networking, you will be $$.

I wanna do network engineering because it's basically big puzzles. I wouldn't say it's something I'm passionate about, but I find the material interesting and it pays well.

this is really one of those things you have to practice

mere communication isn't enough, though. the answer to this is actually mastering your own emotions, to think logically rather than emotionally.

once you do this, you will improve your communication skills a lot more. I'm maaaaaad emotional in almost every aspect of life. I'm training myself to be more in control of how I feel and stop letting that dictate my life.

You hit the nail right on the head

I feel like there’s steps to it though, first you have learn how to articulate what you’re feeling, that way you can have greater control over how you think.

For example let’s say someone is depressed. If they can articulate why they’re depressed they can get to the root cause of how they feel then instead of letting the feeling of depression take over they can take steps to combat the root cause of it. Once that happens they’ll start thinking differently about how they feel. The feeling of course won’t go away right away but they’ll know that there’s something that they can do, and that they’re not hopeless.

changing a tire, how to start a fire in the wilderness, how to find north without a compass, being able to do a few simple pullups etc... things like this can literally save your life. A lot of people dont realize how important it is to be even decently fit, being able to lift your body weight over an obstacle using upper body strength is very important

Reading consistently, improves many areas in your thinking, e.g. creativeness, verbal etc.

Programming, either buy a course or go to the youtube and there is enough. I recommend Java/Javascript or Python.

Meditation, Cold Shower and Wim Hof Method.

just got to do it consistently

reddit sucks in a lot of aspects, but it's great for learning computer skills

/r/CCNA is a great resource to get some idea of where to start. Starting from nothing it's gonna take a couple months to get your head around concepts, but it's fun learning how the world works
