Can someone explain NFTs to someone thats been living under a rock & has no will to google it
F***ing good. Steam is not the place to sell unauthorized “banks”
There were games on steam with their own economies using crypto and nft. Absolutely scummy. They needed to set this example now before any AAA decided to do this s*** as well
I think they set an example that should be applied to the rest of society
YO LMFAO
@op stay broke while I’m with yo girl in the Bahamas with my ETH and Jpegs
lame. nft incentives would've brought in an interesting cyber-physical dynamic between the player and the game. i was looking forward to age of rust which implemented it in a 'treasure hunt' kinda way. think ready player one.
f*** valve :pacspit: they'll probably bring it back one day

that´s sad I hope games can stay games. Valve is already a s*** company selling ingame cosmetics for thousands and having them on a digital market. Im a bit relieved they didnt venture into that direction now too

The premise of the game, not the setting.
CS:GO skins are basically better versions of NFTs anyway, at least they have some use in being displayed in a game the people play. not some dumbass 'speculative investment' item with no intrinsic value
