this might make me get back into vr again

Early 2026 with no pre orders prices or release date?
Yep… game awards half life 3 announcement included with purchase of frame or machine
$600 would be the perfect price but yeah man that’s not happening
this is a full on pc fo your head
That console’s specs are so unimpressive
Gonna be less powerful than a ps5 and cost 20% more
I have a 9080xt. FSR 4 isn’t universally supported by a lot of games and FSR 3 is just okay. 8gb of VRAM too. Very unimpressive

9080xt doesn’t exist
Also fsr4 got updated to auto upgrade any fsr 3.1 game to 4

i think itll sit between a ps5 and pro
The controller is the most exciting announcement for me, the console could be cool if priced right. I love small PCs, but the power needs to be there. 8GB of VRAM is laughable and will hold it back in anything recent.
It could be a great machine for older/indie titles, but then I think it should be priced around $600-700, slightly above a 1TB OLED Steam Deck. If it’s $1000+ it’s dead

With that form factor I doubt it. Thing is tiny. This is just a cute enthusiast product for steam fans. The real headliner is the VR

we'll see. ps5 is a 5 year old console right now with a 6 year old architecture
