performance is hit or miss. elden ring runs horribly on low, but monster hunter rise runs perfect locked 60 at max.

This is a mid range PC at best right? Since it’s a portable device this seems about right.

i feel like elden ring on lowest settings should be more than 30fps

im running stuff like tekken 7 and ass creed 3 at 60fps

I also found some linux drivers for my fight stick and plugged it into the tv for tekken 7. that kind of stuff makes it feel next level

isnt that basically the same performance as a PS4 ?

i have this on lower settings than ps4 and a lower resolution and it still barely keeps 30fps. i just think elden ring needs some more performance patches and proton needs some more work.

i remember watching digital foundry vid about the steam deck elden ring and it seemed decent tbh

sadly elden ring is just a s***ty port

even with a 3080 + 3900 i get insane drops and sometimes performance is just s*** overall

Got my hands on a GPD win 3 for an absolute steal & portable PC handhelds are absolutely the future

Hopefully more companies can hit the SD price point & performance with a better form factor soon

yea i think it was because I was using my phone charger when at office. when I went back home and used the steam deck charger it was fine
