That dpad is still a 2 pack of ass though. Had to keep my stick and a pad in my luggage just in case for fightcade and Guilty gear.

Make sure y’all install decky/power tools when you do emudeck. Some games mostly wii u and above run better with SMT off at least till Valve fixes the cpu bug

Also get vibrantdeck to make the screen look better

Luckily valve said In update 3.5 (whenever that ships) they said they are working on the SMT thing

So I set up the emulator and it’s amazing. The ps2 games run insanely good and most of the GameCube ones do too, but a few of the GameCube games run kind of s***. For example I downloaded thps4 and when you’re skating buildings and trees or things like that will just pop in in the background or when you turn. Any way I can get rid of that or is it maybe just a bad ROM?

download power tools. Disable SMT and set threads to 4 or 3. Should fix issues potentially

My deck came in fast as hell last Friday. Just haven’t done much tinkering yet other than adding emudeck. Played a bit of max payne 3 too

Oh and I tried out RE4 remake demo on it just to see how it runs.

Definitely need a vid cause last time I tried my switch copy on EA yuzu the trees were flickering and the fps ran at a locked 25

Think the switch version runs a Wii u emulation layer as well so it’s double intensive which is why it runs like s***

Not bad at all.

Some weird frame pacing here a there but that is 100% playable and even better than the switch version on a real switch. If those performance increases transfer over to TOTK
