Is the OLED worth it?
Depends if you want the best screen and battery handheld or the best performing one (still with a very impressive screen)
Is the OLED worth it?
If you already have the OG LCD Deck, 50/50. It's a good upgrade but not necessary imo.
If you don't have a Steam Deck already, it's 100% worth it over the LCD version.

Only thing i’m having a hard time justifying is it costing more than my PS5, I wanted to get the PlayStation portal but remote play is dogshit

You can use remote play on the deck, if you get the OLED it’s arguably a better experience than the PS Portal

Would honestly not waste any money on the PS Portal. The Deck is more expensive than the PS5 but it's also a full-blown computer that can remote play PS5/XBox Game Pass on top of being an emulation powerhouse. On top of pretty much a massive chunk of PC games being playable.
If you can wire up your PS5 via ethernet, Chiaki4Deck is pretty much seamless from what I heard, but it take times to set up and it's dependent on how good your wi-fi is.
Copped the oled it's beautiful
surprised how well some games run on this b****
as a strictly console player its kinda overwhelming tweaking s*** but I'll get the hang of it
Does anyone know how to cap frame rates in desktop mode? I'm trying to play Dead Space 2, the game on pc requires you to turn off V-Sync to go above 30fps but uncapped it's hitting like 150fps and is making my fans go crazy. Googled around already but I couldn't find any solid answers.
diablo 4 on gamepass tomorrow. But they are doing authentication through the blizzard app... which means you can install and play on steam deck
