IIRC the earliest leaks - back when it was still called Neon Prime - suggested that Valve was trying to reach beyond the typical MOBA audience with this game - i.e. FPS players, casual gamers, etc. Obviously Valve hasn't started marketing Deadlock officially yet, but we know some TF2 and CSGO Youtubers were invited to the earliest playtests, and the game incorporates an unusual number of FPS elements for the genre, so that particular leak is probably accurate. In that case it's entirely fair to s*** on it for only appealing to MOBA fans so far.

Yeah this s*** is literally league with a different camera. A MOBA with a capital M. A MOBA with the skill ceiling of TF2/CS is.... definitely for a certain audience lol
