TF2 is so unbelievably loved and iconic and active to this day despite being almost 20 years old and has so much to take from and expand on both story + gameplay-wise . i genuinely cannot comprehend why whatever this is isn't TF3 instead

Re tf3 specifically, thats a game id struggle to conceptualise. What can you add that doesnt take away from the tried and true tf2 formula? More classes? More guns? Would it basically just be a remaster? Theres defs tonnes of story to work with, i could see a single player campaign working. But as for multiplayer gameplay my creativity fails

Agreed!! I think mobas are still a very relevant genre. The league and dota are still hugely popular, even with how tired they are and how terrible the communities are, lol.
