It feels like fotb was ezra doing whatever he wanted so the pressure from following mvotc would go away. Also you can say it was their post Rastam exploring era. Both baio and CT did their solo albums and fotb is basically a Ezra and friends album. Kinda like Pink Floyd umagumma was released after syd left. This new album feels like the real follow up to mvotc.

I loved FOTB but these singles give me so much hope for OGWAU. Truly sounds like it's going to be an evolution of their first 3 albums, rather than the departure the 4th one was.
