Anyone else enamored by this lifestyle and concept? I’ve seen some guys who build their vans with electrical systems(AC & DC), insulation, heating/AC and all from scratch by themselves and live in them for years on end on the road. Even if you don’t wanna live the life it’s interesting there are people living in national parks in their self made vans off YouTube and Patreon.

I used to want to do this but its biggest tradeoff is stability

I feel like this lifestyle is full of rich kids who have the stability to do this cause their parents are funding it and they can always return home. New age gutter punks basically. Bored suburban kids cosplaying as the disenfranchised. Idk about the people in the OP, but that's just the feeling I get about the movement as a whole.

Those are the people who buy them prebuilt these guys and myself hopes to buy a van cash and go from there
