This is a common theme in all of her previous shows she's worked on/produced for
From the Office to Mindy Project to her recent show Never Have I Ever
where the main character either Mindy or Devi show so much vitrol towards white men but end up falling for one
I wouldn't even label it anti-white, it's moreso a weird self hating fetish she has for White men
the office is one of the best shows of all time and she’s in love with a white guy the entire series, you’re not supposed to think white men are being hated on, you’re just being sensitive

Tbh most of the hate coulda been avoided if they didn’t race change Velma and Shaggy, but even then the show is average at best and would not have been well received critically.
