I'm with you to be honest. if we keep giving mid films positive reviews the bar is going to get lowered even more. Imagine a film with venom and carnage being like this.

Yea venom VA was pretty trash in this too. I also wasn’t a fan of majority of his lines

Idk why yall acting pretentious for this type of movie. If you were entertained and had fun watching then the film did it s job. Thats the genre this resides in

I think it was an improvement, plenty of people do

But if you didn’t like the whole Eddie/Venom dynamic of the first then you wont like this one because this zeroes in on that. Like it took the campiness and ran with it.

To me, it works much better not trying to take itself seriously

Also end credits confirmed Venom will be in SP3 right? Or that Spidy will be in Venom 3 ?

Imo there isn’t a tonal clash like there was in the first. Like Tom Hardy and Riz Ahmed were in totally different movies whereas Woody and Tom came at the movie the same way

I was watching a review and the dude said it would have been sick if it was R rated and like Se7en with Eddie trying to catch cletus while bodies are piling up and THEN he becomes carnage and he keeps going on a rampage with venom taking him down with lots of casualties along the way

I want that movie that sounds INCREDIBLE

What about the actual movie though like it felt to me the only new stuff in the movie was the ending / credits scene and the rest was just the first movie again but with much less time to breathe Bc of a drastically shorter runtime

Venom 1 has a lot of plot holes and s*** that doesn’t make sense if we being real lmao I love both movies but I can actually point out s*** that’s wrong with both
