Just listened to on my phone, but it still sounds clean and nothing clashes from what i can hear.
Very ethereal and smooth. Might I suggest adding small background elements like nature sounds (birds, rain, light traffic to fit the lyrics about traveling)
Very dope

Tbh it sounds better just played thru a phone. I played in the car & it’s not allot of bass, and at some points there’s allot going on and I think it drowns out my vocals
BUT I’m goin for the DIY sound so I can get better
I like ur suggestion too but I’d either have to re do the vocals or just slap stuff on top of the wav file

Heard that bro having a lot going on has been an obstacle in my songs, but maybe it could work in your favor for the DIY sound like you're singing from a busy bar. Give it a lowfi feel
This video came to mind with what i was thinking:
The beginning part of John Legend singing with crowd noise
Best of luck my guy youre on the right track
Bump. Self produced, self recorded, self mixed lol
I like this a lot. The beat gives off a kind of spaced out feel and your vocals go well over that. Just a couple things: I think you came in a little off key at the very beginning, and the vocals could be louder because they're getting drowned out, like you mentioned. Gave you a follow!
I'm trying to do the same s*** you are with making whole songs by myself lol. I'm dropping an instrumental EP in early October. Here's a beat from a demo I put out a while ago, let me know what you think.
