This is one of those songs that's so good you're not sure how they were able to write it. Even though I've read about the recording process and all, I'm still unsure how and why it works so well.

Feels like a death march. That viola elevates the song to a level that hadn’t been seen before and hasn’t been seen much since. One of my favourites off VU&N.

I find it incredibly hypnotic.

i have a love / hate relationship with VU and what they mean to rock music, influence on pop + experimental music as a whole

but this song is pure class, can’t believe they made it in the 60s
