been my #1 since i was 13 when i memorized the whole song
s*** is hard, i love the internal rhyme schemes 80s and 90s rappers used a lot
best rap feature of the last decade
Kelly Price stole the show here imo
been my #1 since i was 13 when i memorized the whole song
I know the Triumph music video was huge back then, but I feel like the song’s chart success was people requesting the song so they could hear his verse again lol. I always back it up like 3 times every time
like yeah the rest of the song is good. but it’s not on the same level as Deck’s verse. makes sense the whole song happened because they heard the verse and wanted to jump on that s*** lmao

i always thought it was the ultimate verse but never had a way to confirm it when i was young until i saw Chuck D call it the best song and verse of all time like a decade later knew it
@rasie also memorized it as a kid
lol always been more interested in the Wu members’ solo careers than the actual Wu albums ngl that’s my bad
Second verse of this song

Op says verses EVERY rap fan can agree. Y'all choosing verses only hardcore nerds know

AZ is always credited it seems as having the best verse ever for Life’s a B****. but I think Deck’s verse is the real #1

I mean like someone who only listens to trap for example can hit play on an old school song, hear the verse, and be like “alright yeah, that s*** is hard” and vice versa

Do you have a legitimate mental disability by any chance? Re read my post and re read the title of this thread. Then re read the post I quoted.
Is every rap fan gonna agree a verse by RARA is great? 95%of rap fans don't even know who tf that is how we gon agree a verse by a nobody is great?

yeah like the rhyme scheme for Dopeman:
I mean like someone who only listens to trap for example can hit play on an old school song, hear the verse, and be like “alright yeah, that s*** is hard” and vice versa
Ohh like Guts Over Fear, the hard hitting single by Multi Platinum selling artist Eminem?

idk most of those verses are classic to me and memorizing every word was like earning my own personal hip-hop head black belt in early high school lol. U-God had incredible flow as usual. RZAs verse is knotty as hell. Meth rhymed Ghosrider with Streetcar Named Desire.
plus they needed to have at least one song that had every member appear
b**** shut the f*** up ain’t nobody reading all that
All that? 5 sentences. Severe mental disability confirmed. Dude was probably smashed on the head with a brick as a newborn
