lil b should be top 3
I love that album but I’m unsure if it’s been a positive influence
that’s not what the list is ranking lol

It’s not an all time list . And also Lil B is EXTREMELY influential. Bro birthed the internet rap scene, and the way he approached rapping had an impact on the whole genre
i do have a hot take…. guccis influence is kinda overrated tho
He put on a lot of producers and artists that shaped the ATL sound for years
Influence doesn’t always mean the amount of clones someone has. You can influence the genre in different ways

yeah sure he put a lot of important people in the ATL on early, but not many people are imitating his style like that tbh
Which one would carti be over lol. I could only see Nicki but even then idk bout that
he’d be number one tbh

OutKast
Little Brother

yea, I get why soulja on there but I'd swap him out for lil b in that inernet rap spot, soulja's influence really comes down to a handful of songs whereas lil b's artistic legacy is built on a blueprint of productivity that's way more lasting and impressive
jay's in my top 5 but my caveat with having him on this list is that his influence compared to the others on the list doesn't quite transcend him just being one of the greatest to ever do it if that makes sense

Yup I would’ve switched them as well.
Also Soulja was highkey influenced by Lil B’s style for a while in the 2010s, so Lil B def deserves the spot more
drake should be #1
Drake didn’t change the look and identity of hip hop quite like Ye and Wayne did.
People wanted to dress and act like Ye and Wayne
Drake is extremelyyy influential, but I genuinely can not imagine what modern hip hop would even look like if those 2 rappers didn’t exist
