Not sure how a lot of you grew up but I remember my teens well, a lot of bullshit I was doing (non d*** related) and bullshit my peers were doing was a direct result of what was being promoted at the time. It is not a strong contributing factor. Government and corporations' long-standing history of pushing d**** into communities is more detrimental to what is being portrayed in the media. Whether it be videogames, movies or music. Using that think about the children's excuse is stupid as hell and downplays more prominent plausible contributing factors.

I’m not saying you’re wrong because you aren’t. But the point remains that the kids are still being directly influenced by this s*** right now. Maybe it is on the smaller scale of things but it doesn’t mean we should just let things be as is and let the cycle continue because there are larger forces at play. At some point there has to be responsibility taken
