Innanetape was fire, but s*** went down hill after that

and the answer is he f***ed up his career when he started the rollout for Traffic with the whole Hov said it was Nirvana meets Chief Keef s*** and then just fell back mid rollout and then he comes out with the whole punk rock s*** and he just did too much gimmick switching before we could find out who vic mensa actually is outside of chance's homie

should have dropped traffic and then did all the other s*** but for all i know the album he dropped was traffic with a different name

    OK OK

    Instead of Chance

Acid Rap is my favourite project out of the two but vic was way more consistent and talented. His demons and ego destroyed him

Vic mensa & J cole proved though that Roc nation aint s***

What ruined him was him dissing Travis and da people choosing fake chance over him, Vic is da Rebellious protege of Ye

  • I knew he was an L when he took over the aux at Pablo msg listening party

out of all the lanes he tried out for, I really wish dude would've stuck with the "down on my luck" sound. it would've worked really well. it was easy to relate to, sounded really good sonically, was catchy, and had a super creative video. he could've been at least as popular as chance if not more by now.

his mans was the actual chosen one tbh, niggas want to always act like it was travis but not even close. travis just knew how to make the right choices to capitalize on his co-signs but in no way was he ever expected to be the guy he is now in not just hip hop but just music as a whole.

Chance was that guy they actually "picked" for all of that and he didn't know what to do with it and fumbled it. even gave that man 3 grammys and still cant sell an arena tour goddamn
