YeH internet niggas, but for the folks who don’t I can say with confidence VL is more appreciated/loved than TPAB. It’s easier to digest and motivates better than TPAB.

Lol you saying anything tbh but I hear ya. I’m not even arguing about Tpab, I’m talking in general niggas really love Kendrick.

Honestly kinda disrespectful you made this thread knowing that Nipsey is gonna get s*** on too.

    proper

“i really feel like we didn't respect him as much as we should have as a rapper“

    I really feel like I*

Facts OP is acting like the west coast wasn’t rocking with Nipsey heavy in the late 2000’s and 2010’s before his death

The Marathon and Crenshaw were the soundtracks for all our high school smoke sessions

Crenshaw would be the Nipsey project to do whatever you're trying to do here actually

Two different goals artist wise so weird comparison though

    GKMC > VL

but I may like Crenshaw more than any Kendrick album. Debatable bc they so different

i don't feel like he was there yet delivery wise on crenshaw

it's still great music for a lot of similar reasons

but i feel like he really found his pocket on victory lap

rap niggas is one of the hardest singles i've heard

and it's because his delivery is crazy to go along with the truth and game he gives

Don't care for either one of these niggas, but I'd rather listen to the first 3 songs of DAMN. over VL (or any Nispey project to be honest).

i think crenshaw outshadows kendrick mixtapes

    agreed

i'm not super high on his tapes though

i enjoyed the kendrick lamar EP

    and parts of OD obviously

but i enjoyed ab-soul more at the time

i didn't really get the hype for kendrick until GKMC

    rocking with him heavy

    and putting him up there
    with the best rappers ever

    are two different things

i'm putting victory lap up there
as one of the best hip hop albums ever

    are you?
