Such a classic era man… we were so f***ing hyped. Still remember Ebro playing a Drake mix on Beats radio leading up to the release. Views trailer is incredible still.

Drake was on such a run man, IYRT, beating Meek in a beef/Iconic OVO Fest, WATTBA, Hotline Bling blows up plus the video, Work with Rihanna, then Views. He was on top of the world and had the whole world watching.

Views has grown to be in the top 3 for me. I had mixed feelings at the time of release but since probably 3-4 years ago, it’s grown tremendously on me. The production is fantastic and when you understand the vision Drake was going for, the albums started to click more for me.

Unforgettable times when this album dropped.

Me and all my friends gathered in the school parking lot during lunch to listen. We’d been playing the One Dance and Controlla leaks a for minute so the hype was sky high. That Bond movie opener banging out my friend’s Jeep. What a time. I think we were only able to get thru to Feel No Ways in the track list, but we all knew it was already a classic in our group. Spring was in the air. Pure joy.
