There's a clear shift if what Drake wanted when Views dropped.

Drake wanted to appeal to the masses.
And that's what he obtained.

But the lack of quality in Views and future projects shows.

There's a certain passion that comes through artists whenever they spew their soul into their music.
It's very easy to tell if they are faking it or not.

Why does appealing to the masses = drop in quality? Don't get me wrong I agree Views lacked things that made it disappointing but I never find other people's assessment of what that is anything more than low effort regurgitated opinions.
