I feel like AMC let him do whatever he wanted since they wanted to make sure he was happy since he was their cash cow. Apple's giving him a whole bunch of money though, so I hope they don't feel like that gives them some input.

Apple does this already and probably better than most of their competitors. They throw a s*** ton of money at creators and then leave them to make the show/film while they handle business and awards season

They’ve lured so many major names over the past year because of this. Lot of these guys like Scorsese, McQueen, Cuaron, Riddley Scott, etc…all go to Apple now cus it’s the easy option
