Extremely VolatileOkay, I’ve had time to reflect on the past episode but guys we have to he honest here. This episode is by far the worst of the season. And I don’t mean this in a bad way (this was still a 7/10 for me), but cmon. By definition, this was filler. Some very sexy shots, but cinematography can only carry a show so far.
The episode did manage to push the story in the right direction, but everything in between was a nothing burger. Did Vince give us a boring episode so we could resonate with Carol’s current situation or something? Lol. Manuso’s plot was fine, but it felt dragged out. Excited to see him and Carol link up though.
But yeah, still enjoying the hell out of this but if anybody saying this episode is “peak”, they clearly just have a hard-on for Vince lol

You really need to read your own post and think of the reverse . Neither one of you is right and there is no “ we “ consensus it’s an opinion neither opinion makes someone smarter or dumber . Me personally I see both sides even if it was a weaker episode for me could be stronger episode for someone else .

Sometimes in mood for entertainment, introspection , suffering , sometimes just to see a story. You linking any form of joy from watching a show or consuming art to marvel tik tok brain rot slop has nothing to do with me . Again I enjoyed the fly episode of breaking bad and find many things entertaining or enjoyable including parts of this episode

Yeah I really didnt like this one. I appreciate that it moved the plot forward though. There were some cool things in this such as Manousos learning english and needing human contact so much that hes willing to travel a long and dangerous jounrey. Him beleiving hes going to save the world and then being forced to get the hives help and wondering what that might lead to in the next episode is interesting too.
Carols stuff I found less interesting as I dont think there was much new I learnt about her character. But still I think the scenes for Manousos and Carol dragged for way too long without learning new things about them. Others think the cinematography made it worth it but the cinematography didnt have that effect on me.

In short the show makes too much sense in 2x speed . Like it’s that slow at moments . You should never be able to watch something at 2x speed and it feel like normal speed

I mean I can get the unconventional elements like the episode having mostly no dialouge, no any significant plot movement and just being visuals telling turning people off
But I thought the visuals, cinematography/ scenery, acting and emotional aspect of the plot were at least good enough for it not to be a "really bad episode"

Well, I think the purpose of art is entertainment, but that's using my very autistic definition of entertainment. I think art that makes you think or feel connection is still entertainment. Jeanne Dielman is entertaining.
