really feel like someone's dying by the end of this season
I mean it’s only crushing if they die without being converted because then they exist nowhere . Finally episode translates to the girl or the world from Spanish

No lol if for example manusos turns before he dies they possess all of his knowledge like they do Helen’s . The interesting part will be if someone is turned who had no desire to turn will that person be discongruent with the hive .
Right now it’s setting up manusos v Carol in a way .

How would it be “crushing” for him to die before being uploaded to the hive ?

I am saying crushing to US THE VIEWER because then they don’t exist in any of the future plot

How would he continue to exist if he were uploaded lol. He was a storage unit owner (“unskilled”) who weirdly knows about mRNA frequencies (which they would never share if asked about)
Will watch tonight after i watch avatar 3 in theaters
Just finished
Wow

It doesn't even need to happen right away or be inorganic. Personally, I think Carol needs to come around to wanting to spend more time with Zosia (outside of just trying to use her to learn more about the Others), despite knowing that she's part of the Others.
It'll work better if it's framed within the narrative of Carol feeling lonely and longing for some sort of connection with someone else (as all humans want and feel eventually). This is something that was already hinted at when she wanted to stay in Vegas with Diabaté but then quickly said she was joking only when she noticed that he didn't want to have her around. I've also noticed how many times she has complained about all the Others leaving her by herself in Alburquerque to get some space.
It's clear to me that Carol (like everyone else) longs for connection and understands the value in having someone they share an emotional bond with. She lost that when Helen died and maybe she's still quietly mourning that loss but she doesn't strike me as someone who works well alone. Her focus is clearly about getting things back to how they were and having everyone return to normal but I think a lot has been done to establish she's really a softie at heart.
Just watched the episode 8. I was so spot on with my a***ysis
Looking forward to the candlelit dinner between Zosia and Carol
10x the questions
10x the awkward silences and stares

It is very interesting to see the difference in reactions to what Diabate is doing with women and then people shipping Zosia and Carol
