BuryYaTacoI think a white woman and manusos being the only free thinking people is odd . More characters gives more characters that can be developed. In its current point there is no point to immune other than diabatte and menusoe existing at all .
Im 100% sure than new non-hive mind characters gonna pop up in the next season, even mfs outside the "13"...

This just me but I think this show would have worked much better as an ensemble cast where we go back and forth with all the characters as they deal with this new reality
Could have still told the whole carol story in far less time while building up others and showing their realities

Thinking this show should take a big swing come S2 and convert everyone back to normal but showcase the bigger problems that comes with that. Cus no way in hell can them converting back be as “normal” as Carol is expecting. Too much has happened.
I’m not gonna doubt Vince but idk how much juice is left with the current direction of “we need to find a cure, these people are nice and pose no threat, the other immunes dont care, it’s just us 2”

The true reason of boredom isn’t just the slow pacing it’s that do we want to cure this , how would a cure even be spread amongst them all , even if cured the aliens and ramifications of joining still exist . Diabatte ask the right questions and this episode even though she was distracted Carol asked the right questions too . I am unsure of why she admitted she won’t give up on a cure . Because the hive would flirt regardless even when Carol potentially finds a cure she will likely not fire . She is more likely to seek a way for them to eat than cure . I think that firework will be manusos he going to ruin her honeymoon

is what I’m getting atnah is literally on purpose, is the same thing with the fake cliffhanger at the end of episode 5 with the soylent green stuff; they make u believe its gonna be this huge discovery thats gonna be a game changer and then the next episode you find out that everyone already knows and john cena tells you is no big deal
Episode 1 and the first half of 2 makes you believe all the immune folks are gonna be the avengers or start fighting each other then the show subverts that by making everyone a satire of the heroic survivors trope

So many ways they could have pulled this script but instead we follow the life of a lesbian karen when there’s 12 other people in the same circumstance.
Instead of that 10 min voicemail we could of got actual character development

If they play no part at all I’m ehh on that . I never expected them to be the avengers or even universally agree with Carol . Even if they are mindless “npcs” the show could use part of its time to show what got them there or keeps them there . All we gather is that since they all have a loved one alien handler they don’t want to lose they remain calm

Finale got to do a lot for me . Like yes I get Carol grieving and h**** yes you fed shippers but what in the final hour will be delivered for so many of us confused on how you wrap this season up . Not neatly but to a point that says okay my time was used well and I want to see where it goes next
