Not in the sense of "not enough happening", but about how is not a fully eventful episode like the pilot nor a rich character driven piece like the ones after; instead is an edgeless hybrid of both that doesn't go the full way in any of these two approachs to storytelling.
It didn't have the exciting chaos of "We Is Us" nor the minimalistic, insanely creative psychological study of "The Gap"
Still a pretty good episode. Carol and Manousos dynamic felt like a great screwball movie.

Good not great.
If it was great it would be like cool take the time you need . But it was kind of flat again there is only so much of the body snatching zoisia romance we can take. Not figuring anything more out about Zoisa or freeing her .

That’s part of the dynamic imo, she just enjoys all the luxuries Zosia brings and chose to ignore the negatives (them eating people etc) so she had no desire to “free” her as of yet

Oh it was totally intended to be a joke, it was a punchline. I liked it.
In her mind she was free from the joining after what they told her in las vegas. Add to that the delusionship she was living with zosia, the eggs was just a slap in the face to wake her up from her fantasy. She doesn't even wanna ask the gender of real Zosia's previous partner to not burst her bubble.
