great episode
grenade felt like an important episode for the sake of further establishing the rules of the universe
felt like chekovs gun kinda thing (especially bc the show seems to be a big writers room challenge)
i’m interested to see the inevitable infighting between the non joined. there’s no way they’re not setting up a big fight
i think please carol served the same purpose but did more for me / the audience
A writer’s room challenge. Sounds great for an audience…

It does! Sounds really fun and unpredictable.
What if the individuals are still trapped in their body like its the sunken place, witnessing everything thats happening but unable to say or do anything
That's what I've been thinking

“Got Milk” has to be a huge new chapter in the series for Apple to push up its premiere date. This is a first for the streamer; it’s rare for any series to adjust its premieres to avoid a holiday. Typically, it’s the other way around: Netflix, for instance, is timing the release of the final season of Stranger Things to Christmas and New Year’s Eve. That Apple is loath to share Pluribus’ spotlight with anything, even Thanksgiving, seems pretty telling. Episode 5 is poised to drop the kind of bombshell one discusses around the dinner table, rather than the one you watch after feasting on turkey and stuffing.
that last sentence..

TOMORROW night?
Yes
Tomorrow fellas

The best moments of breaking bad and bcs, and in turn the highlights of Vince’s career, all came from writing room challenges. And tbh I don’t quite enjoy your snarky tone!
there we go

Have they come out and said which episodes resulted in a writers room challenge? For BB I’d guess maybe “the fly” bottle episode?

going off what i remember from the old podcasts, the ricin cigarette was planted and woven into the plot before they knew what to do with it, and resulted in them having miserable writers room sessions figuring out how to bring it to a head in a smart and satisfying way. same with the machine gun set up in season 5a, was a striking thing to open a season with and then they toiled down the line on what to do with it. better call saul having to do something with 'did lalo send you?' but having no idea who lalo was or how he plays into it resulted in one of the best characters of the whole thing, and much of that shows best moments.
there was way more, but i just remember rewatching breaking bad and going through each wikipedia entry of the backstory for each episode, and was so surprised about how many great stories came out of them already setting up pieces for the end point of something, but having an absolutely joyless and torturous time in the writers room figuring out how it all happens
TONIGHT !!!!!!!! YES !!!!!!!!!!! F***😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Wait a second
Tonight
Chat, are we loving it so far?
got reservations bout it, loved 3 but 4 was boring me a little

Breaking Bad, BCS all had duds. It’s about the bigger picture. Makes sense there’d be boring episodes for this show because they have to do a lot more explaining and world building with this plotline

It’s also easy to think about those two shows as a totality of what they became. We are 4 episodes in. Think about BCS s1e4
we are in for the long haul here! Obviously it could turn out a dud just as much as it could a blassic but it’s still such early days

They want every episode to be mind bending
Can we watch the set up in peace goddamn
I doubt we even get everything in 1 season
I’m glad they aren’t rushing to answer every question on whatever amount of episodes their are
I want 3 or 4 classic seasons and if that means an entire season to set up greatness
So be it
