I’m ngl I thought that was the case at one point during their meeting
Foreshadowed when he copied how she ate a sandwich . All that physical touch and s***with them likely affects him some how .

He a freaky man I can’t prove it though
If it somehow happens that people can regain their Conciousness from the hive and recall events while they were under, the Frenchman is f***ed
I love this show. A show that's a slow burn and allows characters and settings to breathe is such a refresher in a world of short-form video and Netflix slop. I hope Apple supports this for the long run, and I hope people stick with it.
That final line from the Argentinian(?) dude was gold. You're not my mother. My mother's a b--
Why have you generalised to attention span being too short - this is like the go-to point people make now and is based on nothing
Low attention span =/= was fully watching but found parts of it pretty uninteresting
i'm with @Vicko77 on this.
by definition, having a short attention span means you're unable to focus for long periods of time. so, you probably aren't fully watching. and if you are, you're ability to focus on minor details is probably impaired.
i'm not criticizing you specifically, @platinum. I just think a conversation about a show like this being criticized by a culture flooded with short-form everything is an important conversation to have.
don’t siblings stem cells often match ? Meaning all 12-13 have no siblings ? Parents stem cells are half match .
Mongolian girl said she had a sister.
I didn’t understand why they left mr pimp alone In the spa was it cause they all felt the rejection from him and the grandma?
The man is a sicko, he wanted it with Joette as well.
Zosia revealed in episode 2 that a reaper drone high in the sky watches everything
So maybe they saw her heading in the general direction?
It's not like the hivemind just isn't there, we've seen even without people around, they still do things, so I'm sure they saw her on the way between Albuquerque and Vegas, the can account for cars on the road that aren't being driven by them.
I view it this way:
when Carol got hostile towards Zosia in episode 2, yes they all started spazzing, but that was their response to an emotional outburst. They weren’t being physically harmed.
and then Carol injecting Zosia with the d**** in episode 4, Zosia was the only one affected physically. The rest were only affected emotionally, hence why they all stared crying.
that’s why I think physically harming one person isn’t gonna mean all of them get harmed as well. they’ll probably feel it emotionally, but not physically.
They're a hivemind, they long for connection, having Zosia abruptly leave them probably felt like torture to them.
What's up with Diakaté in general though? What was he doing in his past life to be like this? pretty much all the survivors we've seen so far actually had connections to actual people, or at least duties. All we've seen from my man is that he's a philanderer, and seems to have an option with Western society, flying Air Force One, the trip to Spain, the Bond reenactment, and just the basing himself in Vegas.
The breakfast scene is sorta my favorite moment. Such a cute, human ass moment and not like it's relevant to the story but that kind of nuance shows and nails what human is which is also a central theme here lol

'culture flooded with short-form everything is an important conversation to have.' - this is a good convo to have.
But you can also just have a sho that is too slow paced. Pacing has been an important part of storytelling forever. So just because this is being ciriicised doesnt mean its because of short attention spans. For myself, I was fully concentrating and taking note of what happened. It was just bad pacing imo

How can you say the pacing was "bad" when it was the intention of the filmmakers to be paced that way? You're talking as if it was a flaw in itself, when in reality is something that you qualify as "bad" because it has a pacing that it just doesn't align with your "taste"
they flexed with some of those shots in the casino toooo much.
That mirror shot when he is covering Carol with the blanket

So pacing can only be bad if it’s unintentional lmao?

Nope sorry pal, you have TikTok brain so you aren’t allowed to criticize anything ever 😔 hope this helps!

What does "bad pacing" mean to you, madison beer guy?
