think about how much critical acclaim he’d get rn if he came out with an album where he brought the heat as much as he did here. still one of the greatest displays of rapping I’ve heard.

stuff like this sticks longer than a momentary pop song

    Sounds more energized and inspired

Legit enjoys rapping his ass off

He sounds so worn out and lazy on the self titled album

Yea there are amazing songs from 2012-2015 era vince but some of his best s*** is in bft and self tittled

Prima dona and fm also fun easy listens

yeah that’s what I’m saying, it sounds like he’s being forced to do this singing s***.

he got famous off of his ability to rap and evolve but still keep the same vibe with his aggressive delivery

I don’t want my boy to suffer the same fate as Chance

also I just noticed how he said the album title doesn’t really mean anything, it just sounds good. that gives me bad vibes

Yeah Vince basically said he was just chillin in the studio with Kenny cuz that's his homie and recording s*** for the f*** of it, and then he realized he got enough songs to drop some kind of a project so he was like why not

Then you got ppl on the Internet defending it and trying to make it seem like a deeper project than it is for some odd reason

I loved BFT and that song he dropped after that called Get The F*** Off My D***

    I liked FM!

I’m saying his self titled is his only bad release and that song Magic sounds like a generic pop song and that ain’t Vince. sounds like he’s going in a bad direction the same as Chance

I’m not living in the past, I’m enjoying an artist’s discography. who cares when they released it

Remember when he dropped FM he said it was just an EP for a fan or something and the real album is coming soon. He said he had a bunch of albums coming. Then he disappeared for years. We had reports of him working with Pharrell and other people but nothing came to fruition. He dropped a few trash mainstream pandering singles that flopped tho. Suddenly came back with s/t and once again he said that's not the real album and he's dropping another one later this year. And ofc he didn't. Idk I'm just tired of rappers playing with their fans like that.

A rapper becomes famous doing one thing then switches up his whole formula, what happens next is he's left without any stans

And then they are surprised when the Internet roasts them to shreds and there's nobody to defend them

    That's how Chance's career ended

Ok but difference is Vince is still making quality s*** and niggas choose to b**** about itC meanwhile chance was dropping bottom of the barrel music with bo hint of inspiretionzc yet you niggas are treating them as one in the same

why would you want old fans to move on that makes 0 sense lol. like someone else said, he’s taking the Chance route and alienating his longtime fans.

Already addressed this. Ppl gotta stop rushing to call their favorite rapper chance after one album they don’t favor

Vince's music ain't that good anymore fam s*** is phoned in

It's fine to demand better from rappers

kills me of him going from the creativity of Primma Donna EP to this self titled s***

the last verse of Kendrick’s song Fear about losing creativity really applies to Vince rn

I feel like he has a board of executives controlling his s*** now

Weak ass take fr. Like just think from a logical standpoint, why would it make sense for Vince to sell out? It’s not like eyes are even on him as much as a few years ago with his social media antics, yet everyone is acting like he’s sucking corporate d*** and only making radio songs when the self titled ep wasn’t even that big and didn’t have that many trap beats on it

Everything since BFT was mid to me

    FM was like a 6/10

That singles run with his show or whatever was awful

    Self titled album was underwhelming

This new snippet is trash TikTok bait music

It's been 5 years since his last dope album lol

Why do you think it’s worn out and lazy on self titled rather than laid back? He’s been doing the same exact voice his whole career but as soon as he switches up a little he’s a sellout b****? Smh

No ones trying to make it seem deeper, if anything YOU dumbass ktt F***ers are pushing a weird narrative like the self titled ep was just full of billboard top 20 beats and Vince was caving in and desperate trying to get a hit

Most of those songs are underdeveloped conceptually and lyrically, the rapping got no energy, the beats are generic. And the album is short af if you take out the skits (just goes to show how little effort was put into it). IIRC Vince admitted they cooked it up in like 3 weeks.

Lmao if you are satisfied by his lazy rushed little EP's that he sells as albums more power to you my guy, enjoy

I'm not gonna give him my streams or let fans guilt trip me into pretending I like it
