still like BFT better but I appreciate vince’s willingness to switch up his style each project

BFT was made to sell to film and game soundtracks. Fire project though

Only like a handful of songs from RPBMH whereas Self Titled is borderline flawless.

I like DJ Quik, Slide, and Mama's Boy the most with Rose Street, When Sparks Fly, The Blues and Magic in the second tier and the rest at the bottom.

Crazy y’all think self titled is better than this not hating it’s just, damn lol

vince's music has always had a depressing vibe to it but that project was just like if you boiled off all the water and the only thing left was distilled melancholy
it was like the exposed and beating heart of the themes he always returns to

RPBMH is also great and tbh less front loaded than self titled but, it just really resonated with me, it's hard to put into words (but thats why he had to put it into music)
