Vince ain't beatin the monotone raps allegations with this album
Sparks Fly is top tier
i really enjoyed self-titled, amongst his best work in my opinion, but this is the first project he's put out that feels like a proper Album (whatever that means anymore) since BFT
Man he has some of the best sounding sonically album.
I think the only reason why some don’t connect is his nonchalant monotone type flow. I personally love his flow as you can grasp on to every word.
But listen to Baby on east point prayer. These beats are insane. Imagine a Durk or Baby over all these beats.
lol yeah im a huge vince fan but i had to admit listening to that song i was thinking baby is kind of like what vince could be if he had energy and emotion to his voice/delivery
Is it at least better than S/T?
Way better. I did not care for s/t at all but this seems like a more realized version of that with way better production
The annoying thing about Vince fans on this site is them always wanting a BFT every f***ing time the man drops a project. Bruh let that s*** go, he’s never making another album that sounds like that again

This just shows the importance of cadence and delivery. Vince would be a massive star if he had more energy. He checks every mark: image, lyrics, production. But his flow is what kills him.
This his best album and I’m on East Point Prayer. The BFT fans gonna be in their feelings but that sound is over with.

i’m fine with that it’s his yeezus/tpab. his stand alone masterpiece it can’t be recreated even if he tried
