I think I need to spin this some more, it fell flat for me first listen and I loved the singles and his last project
Feel the exact same way.
His last project grew on me a lot tho
“Pop that p**** n—— cross the street from Cherry park” is a triple entendre don’t ask me how
(Also lowkey sus if u read it a certain way 😂)

I really like Vince but I feel like his on a downwards trajectory with the music despite a consistent output.

I'm catching the gun reference, and pop the cherry, what else

Tell a male to pop his p**** cross from cherry park lmao
i gotta dig deeper into the subject matter but the sound of the album is great in the car i ran errands listening to it.
very chill album to play while driving at night
Production really the highlight. Gonna need more spins but Vince has been saying the same s*** for way too long and his lack of charisma doesn’t help

basically every project he has covers the same s*** and he sounds like he’s tired in the booth on this and his last project. Vince used to have fun punchlines and energy in his voice now it’s all depressing hood tales or songs about girls, ain’t nothing wrong with it but I used to love dude music and I really wanna enjoy his new s*** it’s not captivating to me like it used to be
Gonna give it a few more spins but so far when sparks fly the only one I see myself coming back to and it’s mostly due to the beat

He said this is the last project where he’s gonna talk about the hood because he felt like he needed some closure to stop talking about it

Different artists for different feelings, nobody going to them for lyrics. Everyone going to Vince for lyrics for the most part outside of BFT stans who want him to use more out of the box production
