i have a Denon 300f with a Ortofon 2M Red cartridge and it gets the job done

does it have built in speakers or you use headphones?

no built in speakers but it has a built in preamp so you can hook up speakers or listen via headphones once everything is setup (i have speakers tho)

ATLP120 is really really good. You should check a local flea market or thrift store first though because sometimes they got some good s***. I got a technics a couple years ago for 200 bucks and that was a steal
