First new purchase of the year

did you pay the $38 on the sleeve? i could’ve sworn this album was cheap af like 2 years ago…
Any of y’all collect rare old vinyl?
it really depends. sometimes it’s worth it, sometimes it’s not
it's starting to become rare since it's not on streaming and hasn't had a physical since release (besides the vinyl reissue, which is still rare btw lol)

generally speaking it's not crazy expensive, but for a used CD it is definitely expensive
Price dropped significantly on it for some reason the past year. Used to be 150+ for a minute.
I'm sick of the market
I'm sick of discogs f***ers deciding to price too f***ing much
What is the most y'all paid for a record ?
I've made a rule to never go beyond a hundred

I bought two Black Flag records that were $100 in total but I found them at random and knew they were rare
also $92 for BTI in 2020, probably the most i paid for one album. there are some records that are $100+ that I wish I'd got but its been hard to justify such an expense recently

175 tbh
But then they did a small restock, so I bought another copy for 40 bucks, and then re-sold that copy for 200 a year later to get my money back

dunno if I just got used to it but it was super bad in early 2021. it seemed like everybody wanted to jack up their prices just because. my old wishlist adds from 2017 def got expensive, but some got reissues in the meantime so its mostly even
I see a lot of ppl now selling some of their vinyl in pieces (one lp only or no inserts), hope it's not a trend and I just saw random ppl selling leftovers and not splitting them to make more money
Still available on mass appeal rn
kinda just sitting there under the radar.

good looking out
Finally got around to taking a (rough) picture of my collection

I got it from a pricey store because I like the owner. He's chill and if no one else is in the store plays whatever I ask him to. Might be one of the only record stores I'll go to because he has a better selection than most of the other places I go in multiple states
That record, like a lot of others, is cheap on discogs and eBay. I'd rather just save for what looks like a good copy of something I truly want rather than waste money on something else.

sole mine for 800 last year
