If you turn up the volume on the Donda version you can hear the original hit hat. I guess it was bleeding through Vory's headphones while he recorded it.
I downloaded the snippet on August 17th 2020. Crazy how a year later it's on a Kanye album.

In the intro of the snippet Vory says "Jonah I love you brother" and the song is about people passing so I assume it's a friend or his brother

Good catch, the high hats are weird with the flow. glad they cut those out. makes it feel much more powerful.
